The successful stocking of our freshwater lakes in Queensland with Australia’s premier sport fish the Barramundi, has seen the birth of a new and exciting fishery.

Lakes such as Lake Monduran and Lake Awoonga are only 4.5 to 6 hour drive from Queensland's capital city Brisbane and many anglers travel to these destinations regularly to do battle with 1 meter plus barramundi.

To cater for this Jacky and Myself opened Foxies Barra Havoc on the highway in Gin Gin.

We both have great knowledge of the impoundment barra Fishery as both were founding members of the Monduran Anglers & Stocking Association as well as being the managers at Lake Monduran for three and a half years.

We both enjoy the thrill of Barramundi fishing and with our two daughters spend a lot of time on the lakes fishing for these great fish.

I also have over 18 years experience in the tackle industry working in and managing tackle stores.

CENTRE PARKING IS NOW DIVIDED INTO ANGLE & PARALLEL. IF YOU ARE ENTERING GIN GIN FROM SOUTH THE FIRST PARKING AVAILABLE IN THE CENTRE IS ANGLE PARKING. THE NEXT AREA IS PARALLEL PARKING FOR CARS, CARS WITH TRAILERS, CARAVANS, AND BOATS. ON THE SOUTHERN SIDE OPPOSITE OUR SHOP IS PLENTY OF PARALLEL PARKING FOR BOATS AND VANS.

(ALTERNATIVE PARKING IS AVAILABLE BEHIND THE HIGHWAY HOTEL)
WHEN YOU VISIT OUR STORE (IF HEADING NORTH) TURN LEFT AT THE POLICE STATION, TAKE YOUR FIRST RIGHT INTO MAY ST AND ON YOUR RIGHT OPPOSITE THE PRIMARY SCHOOL THERE IS A VACANT GRASSED BLOCK FOR PARKING. (THIS LOT IS DIRECTLY BEHIND THE HIGHWAY HOTEL WHICH IS ON THE BRUCE HWY). IF YOU WALK DOWN TOWARD THE PUB (HIGHWAY HOTEL) AND TURN LEFT AT HOT BREAD FRED, WALK PAST GIN GIN QUALITY MEATS (WITH THE BIG BULL ON THE ROOF) WE ARE NEXT DOOR.
