The successful stocking of our freshwater lakes in Queensland with Australia’s premier sport fish the Barramundi, has seen the birth of a new and exciting fishery.

Lakes such as Lake Monduran and Lake Awoonga are only 4.5 to 6 hour drive from Queensland's capital city Brisbane and many anglers travel to these destinations regularly to do battle with 1 meter plus barramundi.

To cater for this John and Jacky have opened Foxies Barra Havoc on the highway in Gin Gin. 

Both John and Jacky have a great knowledge of the impoundment barra Fishery as both were founding members of the Monduran Anglers & Stocking Association as well as being the managers at Lake Monduran for three and a half years.

They both enjoy the thrill of Barramundi fishing and with there two daughters spend a lot of time on the lakes fishing for these great fish. 

John also has had over 12 years experience in the tackle industry working in and managing tackle stores.

Foxies Barra Havoc stocks one of the largest range of Barra specific lures, tackle, rods, reels and accessories in Queensland and is the largest tackle store on the highway between Brisbane and Rockhampton.

We also stock basic camping boating and trailer bits that may help you out. So next time your heading north call in and see us for genuine friendly service and advice.
